Green building methodology
At Ascalon Industries we pride ourselves on our commitment to green building IBC standards. All of our projects are approved by an independent HERS rater review process, from the drafting of high HERS index energy efficient plans to site inspections during the construction process.
High R-Value insulation, such as spray foam icynene, and windows with U-values above .3, which we use in all of our homes, reduce energy consumption and are a boon to both the environment and owners of an Ascalon home. 98%+ efficiency tankless water heaters and eco friendly lighting are yet more tools we employ to minimize the carbon footprint of our homes and those of builders we consult.
“3R” Policy
Ascalon has a strict “3 R” policy – recycle, reduce, and reuse. We make a commitment to reduce the cubic yardage of construction waste with all our projects in line with IgCC recommendations. The use of sustainable building materials and EFI certified HVAC systems are a fixture of every one of our projects and reduce energy waste while ensuring the materials in Ascalon homes will last for generations to come.
